Multnomah County Tax Supervising and Conservation Commission
Schedule of Meetings and Public Hearings
Meetings and public hearings are held on an “as needed” basis throughout the year.
During the period between late April and early June the Commission is responsible for reviewing and certifying any objection or recommendation relating to the Approved Budget of all municipal corporations (taxing districts) under its jurisdiction. The Commissioners will be conducting public hearings to review and allow public comment on the Approved Budget (prior to adoption) of districts with a population exceeding 200,000 and those districts with a population of 200,000 or less that request TSCC conduct a public hearing. They will also be holding regular meetings on Wednesdays beginning April 18, 2012 to consider the budgets of those districts under their jurisdiction with a population of 200,000 or less. A schedule of dates, times and places is presented below. Anyone wishing to participate or just attend is welcome to come to any of the public meetings or the public hearings. The districts listed to be considered at the Wednesday meetings is contingent on TSCC staff receiving their approved budget as scheduled on the district's calendar, so it is subject to change.
